No actual experience - but it might be helpful to mention that my elder daughter, after four excellent and completely reliable 1.3 Yarises, found that the new (current) model was just too expensive.

She went for a Hyundai i10 1.2, and is now on her second. The i10 is only slightly less roomy than the Yaris, and she finds it serves her purpose just as well and costs about £4,000 less.

Toyota have just made some revisions to the Yaris range, and the revised range has just gone on sale.

The i10 is Hyundai's city car and the direct Toyota competitor is the Aygo. The Hyundai competitor to the Yaris is the i20, which has similar pricing.
