Pulse & Passion - Smart comparison - BeeJay71

Hi. I've read the HG review on the 2009 Smart Diesel Passion & the specs etc, but can't see a similar review for the 2009 Pulse Diesel version. Can anyone point out the basic differences, as I'm looking at a privately owned 59 plate Pulse, with minimal description.

When we owned smarts (early 2,000s) the Pulse was the more powerful model (61bhp), the Passion was 54 bhp, but had a few extras such heated leather seats, aircon as standard.

My only advice with any smart is to ensure it has aircon.

Thanks for the reply. I've read that the Pulse is 71 bhp whereas the Passion is, as you say, 54bhp, but still can't read up on the different specs. Thanks for the link.

Can't edit? (gremlin in the system) so having to post up. I've had a look at your link & found a very comprehensive post by Whittaker52, covering all models from 2007 to 2014.

Found a couple of conradictions he's made, such as saying the Pulse has a leather steering wheel, whereas the Passion is an option, further into the review the opposite is said. But that's a minor error, the review, as a whole is excellent. You've said to make sure aircon is available, but I personally never use it, do you have a reason for your comment? PS edit worked this time? Thanks again for that link.
