Nissan Almera 1.5SE, 2006 - Water pump change - john493

Chaps - just bought this car & need to change the water pump, it's squeaking.

Do these pumps have a gasket, or are they mounted with sealant ?

Any replacement tips ? Looks like I might need to remove the r/h engine mount ?

No idea I usually just open the box and see whats in there.

though much experience would lead me to guess it's a gasket,

I just know I be scraping hard gasket of an inaccessable b***** hard to see flange face.

Or maybe I'm just jaded.
