Thanks, RT! I hide all the ones I see, usually within a day.

I can never make out why it matters so much to some people: at least they've stopped reporting the spam on the moderators' E-mail. We all know that the posters are some form of sub-human pond life which gets paid to post spam on multiple forums (by no means just ours), and that the adverts are completely counter-productive - so I suggest everyione ignores them.

Begs the question of why this site is so susceptible to spam from people offering refurbishment of la cuisine.

It's not on t'other place that uses this sites old software, nor do I see it on CycleChat, Pprune or the Caravan Club forum.

Has anyone on this forum actually bought any Furniture for a Cooking Room (I do like that description, by the way!) from one of these posted links? I strongly suspect not.

I rather think it's probably best that nobody opens these threads to read them at all. Hopefully, this might just persuade those doing the Spaming that they are wasting their time and they might go away.

Notice I did say "might"!

I think this site is a target due to its popularity. A few weeks ago I came across a site that gave the number of hits that leading websites achieved and HJ was way up there. Its one of the prices of success that you attract low-life spam................
