Drunk Drivers - Why does it happen to me? - oldroverboy.

Some years back There we were returning home after a night at the theatre, and haring down the mororway noticed a hgv container truck weaving a bit and slowing down gently. Eventually he stopped, and when I got out to investigate (the motorway was pretty empty) opened the drivers door and he fell out onto me.

SWMBO is working Christmas and New Year, in the hospital so

Please do NOT drink and drive.

I know of some pubs offering free soft drinks for designated drivers.

Sounds like a good idea to me

Seasonal greetings to all,

and santa, please can I have an XJ 5.0 litre...

I agree. I've booked myself into a cheap hotel for the night of our company do. Allows me to partake freely. It's even walking distance to the office, so no 'morning after' over the limit either.

Good job you weren't in Glasgow? :-(

When I was driving south on the M1 north of Chesterfield I followed a lorry for several miles. The lorry was weaving about, on and off the hard shoulder. My passenger saw my concern and asked why I didn't pass the lorry. I replied that I would rather that I followed the lorry than he followed me. I don't know whether the driver was tired or drunk, but the effects were the same.
