SsangYong Reviews

New Cars
Good: Stylish exterior. Well-equipped as standard. Impressive warranty.
Bad: Disappointing interior. Poor refinement from 2.0 diesel engine. Steering is vague and lacks weight.
Good: Genuinely 'all new', good looking SUV with high quality interior, 163HP 1.5 petrol engine, 136HP 1.6 diesel engine, 4WD or 2WD and manual or automatic transmissions.
Bad: 163HP petrol engine delayed to 'early 2020'
Good: Only pick-up to get a seven-year-warranty as standard. Strong 2.2 diesel engine. Huge load moving potential.
Bad: Even by pick-up standards the ride quality is poor. Expensive fuel costs. Short loadbed.
Good: Excellent off road. 3500kg braked trailer rating. Impressive quality cabin. Loads of space. Well-equipped as standard and great value in mid-spec. Seven-year warranty.
Bad: On-road driving dynamics aren't great. Top-spec car is pricey.
Good: Well equipped and seriously well priced. Hard to fault the build quality when you consider the price. Diesel is affordable to run.
Bad: Not the most recognisable brand name. Some of the material quality isn't great in the cabin. Petrol engine has fairly high emissions.
Good: Spacious back row and boot. Generous standard equipment including leather, heated seats and nav.
Bad: Only one trim level available.
Good: Restyled and reworked Rodius. Looks a lot better than its predecessor. Tremendously spacious. Now with seven-year warranty even for taxis. Vastly improved by 2.2 engine and 7-speed autobox.
Bad: Original 2.0 litre not good to drive, nor very economical nor very clean . Cabin materials not the best.
