Mazda CX5 - poor ride quality - mike langton

My wife has a petrol CX-5 fitted with 17in wheels using Yokohama Geolander tyres. The car has done 10000 miles. In recent weeks the ride quality has deteriorated noticeably. All road imperfections are felt through seat and floor. Most obvious in rear seats. Driving at motorway speeds feels like you're on a vibration machine! Local dealer had checked suspension, etc and can find nothing wrong. I understand these tyres are designed for off-road use. Could even modest wear cause the symptoms she describes?

I believe the 2014 cars have had some suspension updates, at least the Austrailian market has. This link is to a American forum who dont have the diesel version, only petrol, so my help.

Maybe having the tyres checked for balance?
