Renault Megane III vs VW GOLF V GT - mmarsh

Hi

I live in France, and am compareing two different cars. Which is the better deal?

A 2010-2011 Renault Megane III Auto with 8000-30000KM (there a several for sale) hence the spread. Cost is about 14500 EUROS

or

VW GOLF 5 GT with DSG. 36000KM for 13500 EUROS.

Which is the better?

it seems both are a similar price; so i'd personally pick the golf.

The golf has nicer interior and 'should' be more reliable - in reality i doubt it's any more reliable than the megane though.

I've not driven a car with DSG but plenty of people on here are having problems with a few things (search)
