hi all new on here need help i have golf gt tdi 150 arl code the what the problem is i start the car up i can rev it but after a few mins there a knocking nosie at the top the higher i rev it the louder it gets i have had bottem bareing changed thought it was that but no still but when it running below 2000 revs no noise over there noise. can any one help

Does it vary with throttle opening and almost dissapear when the throttle is closed? If so its probably an injector.

No when you rev it over 2000 revs it gets louder when on tick over it sounds normal even up to 2000 revs over that it's knocking like a good one

Does the actual throttle setting i.e. the ammount its pulling affect the noise level?
