Note about bump I didn't have - karstan80

I returned to my car today which was parked in metered parking on the road to find a note with some details claiming I had hit his car and would i like to get in touch to arrange repair.

When I'd parked earlier I didn't hit any cars and there was no damage on my car.

What do I do now?

Contact them and explain politely at first that no accident occurred and hence there can be no need for repairs.

If he persists and says he has a witness come back to me.
