hi i have a problem with my mondeo, i recently changed a brake light that had gone and i changed it for the exact same bulb, then i noticed that when i brake the front side lights come on and so do all the interior dashboard lights, at the same time the cruse control stopped working and it seem to struggle starting.

Does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

You need to check that the right bulbs are fitted correctly in the holders and that the contacts have not been displaced.The brake light circuit is shorting across the sidelight circuit.hth

Was that a stop and tail light bulb as that may be your problem. either a duff bulb, the wrong bulb or fitted incorrectly. The cruise problem may be effected when the side lights are on, but the starting issue may be a different matter. Regards peter
