04 2.2 Loss of Power and Warning Light. - thecodd
Hi I have just bought the above Espace with a Diesel Filter warning light on. It states in the Manual "Electric fault or water is present in the Diesel filter" Contact your Dealer, I have just spoken to a Garage owner friend of mine and he thinks it could just need a new Diesel filter, anyboday have any thoughts.......Cheers Simon

change the filter really and see what difference that makes. If still bad try changing the air and oil, start simple. Then I'd say check the fuel lines, and the air lines and intercooler after the turbo to check for any cracks or leakage. Don't always trust the lights...they want you to go in as they get the money ;)
