with all this new tech can anyone tell me how it works when my car lights up onscreen and tells me my back tyre has lot air amazing

Two systems I know of:
1. Pressure sensor inside tyre sends wireless signal to receiver.
2. ABS/traction control detects a difference in rotational speed compared to other wheels due to slight reduction in circumference as pressure drops. I don't understand how it copes with large roudabouts.
