Removing over-spray from plastic mirror surround. - lordwoody
About 9 months ago my wifes Aygo was damaged in an accident and had some paintwork done by a local insurance approved bodyshop. The workmanship was not great and it had to be returned once, but that is not the problem. Although it wasn't noticeable at the time, it is now possible to see some over-spray on the plastic support of the mirror, in the area the work was done. I wondered what the best way was of removing this, or even whether it's possible to do so.

made make/model non-specific

Ins Co work is warranted for at least 2 to 3 yrs - take it back and ask for it to be fixed.

I took my Honda back 5.5 yrs after the event (2 week old car) I got the rear hatch re=sprayed foc.

That Ins Co has now changed defect support from "all the time you own the car" to 3 years
