pls can anyone advise me of the size of battery a peugeot 306 key fob takes.

also if the led does not flash does that mean its broken.

How can i test if my Infa red key fob works. it does not unlock my doors but all the doors open when the key is used.

and what else could i try to get my key fob openin my doors. many thanks richie

How can i test if my Infa red key fob works.


Point the plipper towards any digital camera / vid camera and press the button. If works ok you will see the LED flashing away on the screen of said camera.

Another way is to hold the plipper near a portable radio tuned to a blank AM channel. If works, then you'll hear a noise coming out the speaker.

thanks tried that an nothing. the led does not light up an cant hear any noises frm the radio.

i recenly put some new batterys in but nothing.

how do i fix the fob or which replacement should i get. there are so many.
