Volkswagen Golf IV (1998 - 2004) - Throttle Body clean

Throttle Body clean - annaeloise
Hello,
Can someone advise me how much it will cost (aprox) for a garage to clean the throttle body?

My car has been cutting out when slowing down and I have been advised by other honest john menbers that this may be the cause.

I used to be a mobile car tuner annaeloise, and I would always clean the throttle body & butterfly valve with STP carb cleaner, then stick some STP fuel injector cleaner in the tank - just doing that would transform the cars running, but it would also greatly increase the idle speed as well, so, your best bet is to have the car tuned by "someone who knows what he's doing" it will be money well spent.
