1999 2.7T Auto - traction control and ABS - bromine
The traction control light and ABS light came on together and stays on.

The fault code is only one - Load Signal Error Message from Engine Contr.

What does this mean?

What year; engine code and what was the exact five-digit fault code?

What did you read it with?

It's 1999 V reg, I read it with a hand held code reader and fault code was 18265.

Apparently, that one means that there's no load info from the engine because there's a fault-code stored in the engine ECU that's preventing data communication.

Read the engine ECU codes. Does this also have ESP?
