2.0 HDi - cold starting - jayvee
this morning being the first frost of winter my 307 struggled to start straight up, it seemed like one or two of the heater plugs were not working. (had this problem once with my 405) i am going to fit some new ones tomorrow is it straightforward? also when my wife started it a few hours after the first start she said the heater plug light came back on momentarily, is this some sort of signal to say they are faulty? would appreciate any ideas before i buy new heater plugs in case its not them, also once its been started its ok.

sorry forgot to say its a 110bhp 2.0 hdi, also to add to the original post, the car started this morning with no hesitation at all, the ambient temp according to car dashboard readout was 11deg C. yesterdays problem starting from cold was similar to a petrol engine starting with a plug or a lead off.
