I've sent my Nokia E50 back. People I was speaking to all heard an echo of their own voice. I swapped the phone but it was worse. Since discovered on the Nokia discussion forum that it is a known fault with Nokia Smartphones (E50/N70 and similar) with non-Nokia Bluetooth devices (e.g. Parrots). Nokia deny all knowledge of course!
Anyway I'm back to a 6230i.

I've heard this one before - apparently its something to do with Nokia implementing the noise reduction on the car kit/headset etc rather than on the handset software when connected via Bluetooth.
In my experience it's usually best to stick with the same brand for phone and car kit, which is a shame because Parrot make some really nice kits at good prices.
