Peugeot 106 FogLight and Headlight - roger222
Hi all

I have an issue whereby my foglights come on when I put on my headlights. I havent changed anything (certainly not knowingly) this has recently starting happening. I turn the headlight notch and on pop the headlights and the fogs. Appreciate this will fail my MOT so need to fix. Would as always be very greatful for any advice/pointers.

This may seem obvious in which case apologies.
Also assuming switch is similar to that in the 306.
Are you sure the foglight switch is in the OFF position?
The fogs will only come with the headlights, even if they are switched ON.

The foglight switch sits in a Neutral position - one click away from you puts on front fogs and a 2nd click puts on the rear fogs as well. Similarly, from both sets on, on clicks towards switches off rears, another switches off the fronts. Ie if no one is touching the switch you have no way of what is on or off, apart from the indicator lights on the warning panel. That's for a 206 and 307 BTW!

Send Chassis No and I should be able to email you the CCT for the model but I suspect the switch has failed. If the driving lights relay had welded closed they would not go off at all. Regards Peter
