any body know were the damn thing is? is it easy to remove, not been changed in the 20,000mls ive had it do they require changing every 12mths??

Take the glovebox out, and then there is a long thin vertical removable panel in the side of the heater unit. Remove this, and the pollen filter is directly behind it. Note the orientation of the filter as you remove it.
Re-assembly is the reverse of removal!

As NC says, but I usually point people toward the puravent website. Not to buy their filters, but for the instructions on how change them ;o)

Fiddly little clips to remove, but took me under 20 minutes. £6 off e-bay , made a huge difference too - filter was black, rank smell of death appears to have gone now... :-)

I used to work at a Vauxhall agent, and although they were always booked on the job, they were never fitted as it took up too much of the technicians time on the service.
