How easy is it to replace one?

Not as easy as the Haynes book would tell you Quinny but not that bad.
My mate up the road who was a Vauxhall mechanic got me the belt and they supplied him with the wrong one presumably for the DI.
He got the right one and firstly he sketched on a bit of paper the pulley route of the belt. He said once you get them off you can easily forget it.
The with a socket on a bar sticking upwards off the big nut into the bonnet which I pulled on he removed the belt and fitted the new one from under the offside wing with that side jacked up. I think he took the plastic cladding off underneath the wing also.
It took a good amount of effort for me to hold the pulley spring while he did it so I would suggest an assistant would be necessary.
Not a big job but you would struggle to take the tension off on your own and fit the belt as it suggests in the book.

It's for a friend of mine,so if he wants it changing,looks like he'll have to get his hands dirty as well.
