Zafira (X 2001) Speedo not working

Zafira (X 2001) Speedo not working - rifi1
Can anyone tell me how to repair the speedo as it is not working at all. It stoped working after the engine compartment got wet. Can you also tell me were it is located.

Not too sure, but I *think* the signal is picked up from one of the front driveshafts via the ABS sensor. If no ABS, then I *think* the sensor maybe on the back of one of the rear wheels - or even one of the front wheels. Either way it sounds like a connector has either become separated or sodden in water.
