One of my trailer tyres went flat, and has consequently come away from the rim. Tried inflating it with an airline, but the air just leaked out the gap, rather than pushing the tyre out and sealing.
Any thoughts on how I can re-inflate it?

Take it off the trailer and rotate and bounce it or sit on it, whilst putting the air in, this will squash the sidewalls out and back onto the rim.

Rope or a ratchet strap around the middle of the tyre to push the bead onto the rim.

Jeremy C's top tip from the trip to Iceland back in the series "Motorworld" where 4x4s are driven across snow with very low tyre pressures (with the result that sometimes they pop off the rim) was to squirt some butane gas in to the tyre and light with a match at arms length!
BANG!
One tyre popped back on to the rim.
Caveat, caveat, etc, etc....

have seen the butane gas trick, but didn't really fancy it.
Ratchet strap round the tyre has done the trick though, and tyre is now inflated.
