DSG clutch operation

DSG clutch operation - miker99
Can anyone explain to me how the clutch works on VW/Audi's DSG gearbox and whether leaving it in Drive whilst stationary does any harm? I have tried VW, Audi and Skoda web-sites but there seems a dearth of information on the system.

Thanks Nortones2 - do you have any view on likely clutch wear caused by leaving the gearbox in Drive when stationary?
