Peugeot 306 Alarm - ShereKhan

Hi,

I\'ve just drove into work in my 00(W) 306 2.0 SE Cabriolet this morning, I\'ve noticed that when I lock my car using the lock button on my key fob it now makes audible noise.

Does this indicate anything? As it has never made this audible noise before.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Peugeot 306 Alarm - Harry

I have a Peugeot 307 and if I press key button twice the car makes an audible noise. The reason for the noise on my car is to let me know I have disengaged the alarm although the car still locks. If I press the button once there is no sound and everything is activated.

Problem solved the boot wasnt shut properly.

Checked with local Peugeot garage. Apparently the noise is only made when a door, boot, bonnet is not closed properly.
