Audi A6 3.0tdi Quattro Auto (2007) - Revs, Rising & Falling - Spectro27

I have bought and Audi A6, 3.0 TDI, Quattro (Auto - Trip), 2007 with 95,500 on the clock, with FSH, 1 owner and with the long life service.

I have had the car for a week now, and have noticed that when I am driving at about 40 - 45 miles, and then release my foot off the accelerator, the rev's start to flicker up/down.

Its fine to drive, fine at idle its only when you release the accelerator pedal and let car slow down on its own speed.

Has anyone got any ideas?

Why is the temperature not up to 90. This may be the cause of your problem. Regards Peteryddv
