my epc light keeps coming on then the car goes into limp mode when driving over speed bumps and sometimes when driving randomly, I then have to leave it a while as it won't restart straight away, any ideas ???

How old is the car?Could be a number of possibles.A diagnostic scan would help in finding a clue to the problem.
