vectra 2005 1.9 150bhp - clicking noise - vectra05

I have a vectra 1.9 150bhp which when I accelerate there's a clicking noise it only happens when I accelerate. There's only one click but it happens all the time when the gas pedal is depressed when driving along . Also the service light comes on with the spanner on it. Any ideas on this problem please.

Best advice I can give is to get the car booked in for a session on a diagnostic computer at a local garage, or better still, Vauxhall Indy specialist.

The click and light illuminating may be connected or not ? The only way to be sure is to get it checked out.
