Citroen 2cv6 special - Unable to remove the fan

Citroen 2cv6 special - Unable to remove the fan - sitkaconny

I have been unable to remove the fan. I watched YouTube and used the repair manual and it will not budge.

Any other ideas that I can use?

Remove the centre bolt. Using a suitable drift tap the fan to one side fairly hard to knock it off its taper. They can be quite stubborn but they always go.

I removed the Center Bold, which is no problem.

What is a suitable drift tap?

A 'drift' is any suitable blunt ended piece of steel/wood; one end is placed on the fan where you want to apply the force and you 'tap' the other end with a hammer.
