You're in a very lucky position! The issue is, these sorts of cars aren't really quantifiable or measurable by rational means -- you either love them or you don't. Have you driven either to see if you like how they drive?
Reliability of these marques is uncertain -- there aren't many sold, and even then, only a handful will do big enough mileages to truly test reliability.
If you're buying used, I would suggest going for a car that's actually been driven and covered some miles, rather than a 'garage queen'. No car likes long periods of disuse: electrical connections get unreliable, corrosion affects internal parts, brakes start sticking etc etc.
Also, I think I would try and get one from an Aston / Maserati main dealer or from an acknowleged independent specialist in the marque: for these types of car, the good ones usually tend to stay in the "established" networks.
