Buying back my company car?
My company car is a 58 reg Audi A4 Avant Multitronic 140 SE tdi which I've had from new and we have covered 43,000 enjoyable miles together. When the car is 4 year old, next November, I hope to have the opportunity to buy it at a reasonable price. Although I like (love?) the car, I'm worried about articles I've read regarding the expense of changing out dual-mass flywhheels, cam belts and particilate filters etc. in some deisels at 60,000 miles or thereabouts.
Although I've treated the car as my own and really like its multitronic gearbox, comfort and economy (37/38 mpg around town and about 48/49 mpg on a long run) - is buying it a reasonable bet - or should I give up gambling?

Reads here as if you are going to buy the car just before all the standard failures take place that could cost you an extra £3,000 - £6,000 on top of the price you pay for the car. I wouldn't.
