A great car but dissapointing dealer backup for EV repairs/ softaware update

I truly love owning this car and the way EV's drive make it a relaxing car to drive. It is so effortles to drive on motorways if you have travel assist (an add on) linked to the cruise control. I easily get 279 mile range in the warmer months but it drops drastically in the winter even though I have a heat pump e.g. I get around 3.9 miles / KWh in summer and it can drop to 1.2 miles/KWh on short winter journeys. It really does not seem like the heat pump is worth it on the Enyaq but maybe mine is faulty. That brings me onto the really bad thing about owning a Skoda EV currently. I have been trying to book my car in for a software update for simply ages and now I have a fault on my travel assist and I want to have the heat pump checked out aswell. But I have had to wait almost 10 weeks to get the car booked into a dealer who has qualified EV trained mechanics. I am not sure if this a Skoda problem or a wider EV problem with trained mechanics in the UK. Back to what I like about the Enyaq it is very spacious for both passengers and laguage it is very quiet and smooth to drive on its 19 inch wheels in my case. It is reasonable to insure and it works out much cheaper to run than an ice car as long as you have a charger at home. Plus in my case the 1st 14 months have almost been totally free as I made use off free charging at the local supermarkets but sadly that has now come to an end, but then we all know nothing good lasts forever. The interior siute trim is of great quality and very comfortable, it has really bright lights for night driving which is enhanced with the matrix LED lights (another add on)that make it easy to see where you are going without blinding other drivers. The only downside is the lack of trained EV mechanics that are causing serious delays to getting the car booked in for routine repairs etc. Hopefully another year or so that will no longer be a problem. I am looking forward to the software update as it should improve on the functionalty of the entertainment system from what I have read.
