Do new BMWs have security flaws?

Is a new pre-reg by BMW (24/12/12) 320i Luxury xDrive subject to the security flaws which I read allow theft by cloning the remote key?

Apparently the MO is to break the drivers window, plug into the diagnostics port and create a new remote key.

Apparently not, but when I was running a 12 reg F30 I always locked it up with a Disklock to make sure.
