Ford B Max - Ecoboost or not?

We have two choices in our price range, the 1.4-litre petrol or 1.0-litre Ecoboost, both in Zetec form. Which is the best choice? We mostly do short local journeys of less than 10 miles, plus a few holiday trips.

If it was your money which would you go for?

The 1.4 is cheaper, but dull. The car is considerably livened up by the 1.0 Ecoboost and having a turbo it warms up much faster.
