Wanted - Diesel car for 90 mile commute

My daughter commutes 90 miles a day mostly on motorways. She currently has a 2007 Ford Fiesta 1.4DCI, and gets about 60mpg. She likes the Fiesta and the low running costs, low road tax and fuel consumption, but would like a change. She will have about £10,000 to spend at the end of the year - she is single. Can you recommend an alternative to the Ford?
