What's wrong with a 1.6 TDI?

I have had Skoda Octavia TDI 1.9 Ambiente hatchback for almost eleven years and now I am going to buy a Skoda Octavia TDI 1.6. Ambiente hatchback.

What is the difference between these two cars?

I have seen you have said that the motor is not that good.

What is wrong with car motor? Why are people complaining about it?

They are complaining of relatively poor economy. When you couple that to the high repair costs of diesel particulate filters, dual mass flywheels, EGRs, timing belts and turbos, better to go for the 1.2TSI.
