A car I bought 10 days ago has suspected faulty steering rack - what are my rights?

I've just bought a 2007 Honda CRV with a 30 day mechanical warranty. I fear the steering rack may be damaged as the steering wheel tugs in the opposite direction whilst cornering, and when turned whilst parked at a standstill.

Would the steering rack be covered by the warranty? The garage I bought from is 400 miles away.

The 2015 Consumer Rights act gives you the right to a repair or full refund: www.honestjohn.co.uk/how-to-reject-a-car-your-cons.../

You will, however, need to take the car back to the garage that sold you the vehicle. If the problem is serious and affecting the handling of the car then you may need to pay for it to be transported to the dealer. Unless, of course, they are willing to pay a local mechanic to inspect the vehicle and repair any fault found.
