Taxy driver

Some time late March, early April I applied on line to renew my car tax (due end April). Very impressed, easy, fast and received the new disc my middle of April. This morning, 6th May the postman delivered another tax disc. Same registration number, issue date etc Seems to be the real thing. So far I have only paid for the first one. The question is what do I do now. Go to the local nick to be arrested (I just know this will somehow end up being my fault). We all know that government computer systems all work perfectly and with all the cost cutting resulting in less civil servants they will have kept those that never made mistakes. Can anyone tell me which of my two tax discs I should use. I wonder what would happen if I displayed both of them.
What should I do about this?

I think you are obliged to return the one you don't need, but if you do
then some clerk will press a button on the computer saying you are not taxed and you'll get hauled up in an ANPR check. So 2 options: 1: phone the DVLA and ask what to do. 2: put the second disc in the file with all your other car documents and forget about it, but check your card statements that you have not been charged twice.
