A couple of years ago I bought a top of the range RAC boxed and branded 220 Satnav unit. I bought it for the large screen, high quality build and very easy operation. I now find that it was produced on licence by Nu-Tool. The company has issued updated maps for the cheaper 'RAC' badged models available when I bought mine but they have no intention to produce updated maps for the 220 model because they say it is not economically viable. I would appreciate your view on this, would it be goods sold not fit for use? The RAC are simply washing their hands of this, directing any issues to Nu-Tool.

I won a top model VIA Michelin satnav and have only used it once because it is neither compatible with my bluetooth phones nor with my Mac computer and is also counter intuitive. Unless you can find an update on eBay, best to dump your out-of-date satnav and stick with Tom Tom, Snooper or Garmin.
