hi,

got a 58 reg vivaro 2.0lt and its doing my head and bank balance in..

ok firstly ive had 4 injectors replaced as had a power/stutter problem.ten days after i got it out of garage i started it, drove 500 yrds and it conked out again and has never started since..(4 weeks its been in garage) guy has replaced an injector had it to bits had auto electrician three times look at it.

they both said they were 99% sure it was fuel pump as it was/is not getting any pressure top end? wotever that means.

anyway a new diesel pump has been fitted £475.00 and still no pressure (he says)

van has been in garage coming up to 5 weeks and still no closure/repair. the bill is going up n up n up and still got no van.i am at the end of my tether tbh and seeking some advice.

Tho you don't say what milage is on your 2l renault. Theres certainly a issue with the 2l hydraulic chain tensioner & chain. When either of the 2 are worn (common fault) it causes a non start situation simply because it alters ignition timing needs to be checked out Hth Regards Mickeybo
