skoda fabia 1.4 mpi, reg 2000 - engine - edgars

hi there please say, if i have a skoda fabia with 1.4mpi engine can i change it to 1.4 16v engine and leave the same gearbox and all other things or i need to change everithing???

Others more technical than I may be able to answer that question.

But after all the labour involved, unless you buy the parts and do the job yourself, will you save anything compared with selling yours and buying another Fabia with the engine you want?

Don't bother unless you know a lot about car electronics: the ECU will have to be changed... which means also any security systems etc...
