the clutch on my golf is sticking.

The fluid has been topped up and bleed as there was air in the system. A week later the same has been done as fluid dropped and a lot of air still in the system.

The garage is talking about taking the gear box out to check the pipe isn't leaking but could this be the master cylinder or a.n.other?
