Vauxhall Zafira - VX Zafira Tourer - does it replace Zafira? - wazza
Does the new Vauxhall Zafira Tourer replace the old Zafira? It is just that on the website both models are listed.

I thought it was a bigger version to be sold alongside the original, but I could be wrong.

According to this weeks Autocar, they are trying to market the Zafira Tourer as a cheaper alternative to cars like the S-Max and SUV's.However, the version driven by Autocar (the Exclusiv) isn't well equipped, costs £ 1500 more than the C-Max, and isn't as roomy as the full size seven seaters (Seat Alhambra, Ford Galaxy, etc).

It seems that the Zafira Tourer is more of a rival to the S-Max than the C-Max. The C-Max is much smaller, and as such would warrant more of a comparison with the standard Zafira. And although the spec on the S-Max may appear more, if you add the option to up the spec on the Zafira Tourer it still under cuts the S-Max.
