Peugeot 205 GTI Humming and Vibration - PDeller
My 1.6 205 GTI started making a loud humming noise accompanied by some vibration through the floor and pedal but only when decelerating (foot off the throttle) and the engine bay was hot. It is now doing it all the time (except when accelerating) and is now making squeaking noises when turning. It does not matter whether the clutch is engaged or not. I have heard that engine mounts are a common problem with these engines. I'd be grateful if anyone has any knowledge of this problem.
