Can anyone help please?

my wifes skoda octavia has developed a slight lag when accelerating. it doesn't happen all the time but is generally at low revs.

It feels like the engine is hitting the rev limiter and it almost sounds like the turbo is stuttering slightly.

Any help advice would be appreciated
