Good Day All

Having promised this girl I would replace her damaged rear offside light unit (the part on the wing, not the boot), I see its not going to be as simple as all the others I have done.

So I can save face and not have to accept defeat, can anyone point me towards instructions on how to get beyond the boot lid retract mechanism which blocks access to the lamp unit?
