A couple of times whilst cruising at 60mph for a while I put my foot down to overtake and the engine hiccuped momentarily losing power before continuing.Then recently the same thing happened but the loss of power lasted longer causing me to head for the hard-shoulder.The dash said to switch off engine which I did and moments later I switched the engine on again and everything was ok.I've tried replicating this incident but to no avail the car works fine.
