HI.
I have washed my car and the motor was abit dirty so thought ill wash it aswell. but afterwards it doesnt seem to start, any possible problems/solutions? hope to get a reply soon

You've got water in the ignition parts and possibly on the spark plugs. You may be lucky and find it's dried out naturally by tomorrow; otherwise you'll have to try to dry as much as you can by hand.

It all depends on how much water you used and where it went.

Next time have a look in a motor accessory shop and you can find proprietary engine cleaners that won't have this somewhat disastrous effect.

it hasnt dried out. and thats what i thought the problem is. but i dont know where to start looking for the water

Try spraying everything heavily (mainly ignition parts - connectors) with WD40 - then wipe any overspray of the hoses.

Keep it off the belts by shielding them with a newspaper.

Also have a look at the spark plugs and make sure they are not sitting in water. If so, you can blow it out, or `wick` it out by using a rag dipped into it - then spray with WD40.
