How does the Quote thing work? - Armstrong Sid

I admit it may be me, but I've just tried to write a message using the "Blockquote" icon at the bottom of the message box

It gives me a blue line to the left of the message box, but then as I move the line return key on the keyboard the blue line just keeps following me down

So I can't actually make a quote and then get out of it, back to my normal message

Put the message in first, then the quote. It works for me.

Yes it does, but I'm sure someone will be along shortly to let us know how it should be done!

If you do the quote first, and then click in the space underneath well clear of the blue line, sometimes it allows typing without the blue line.

What was wrong with QUOTE or " " ?
